The grade 01 admission ceremony
The Grade 01 admission ceremony of Holy Angels Girls’ College was held on 29th January, marking a memorable beginning for the new students. The Holy Angles Girls’ college warmly welcomed the freshers and their families through an event themed “Stepping into School with Happiness and Laughter.”
The ceremony featured many inspiring performances, including melodious songs, heartfelt speeches, and vibrant dances presented by the talented students of Holy Angels Girls’ College. These performances filled the audience with joy, laughter, and enthusiasm.
We wish the new little Grade One students a wonderful school year ahead. Remember, Holy Angels Girls’ College is a place to learn, grow, and shape your talents.
Grade 5 students have scored the highest passed percentage in year 2023 compared to previous years. There are 42 students have passed obtaining the percentage of 37.8%. Our daughter K.Dewni Prasansha Fernando obtained 181 marks which was the highest mark among the passed students. Our great gratitude to the class teachers contributing their big effort to succeed relevant competencies of Grade 5 students. And we should pay our special thanks to the Primary Sectional Head Sr.Yvonne and the Principal Sister and the parents who directed students towards their goal.
The primary education (Grade 1-5) is focused on providing a strong foundation for students to build up their skills. Classroom education is mainly focused on improving students’ reading, writing, analytical and creativity skills. Each grade has 3 parallel classes. Each year, the students obtain higher marks from Grade 5 Scholarship exam as well as the percentage of pass students’ is increasing.
The Students attend in more extra-curricular activities while they are performing well in classroom education. They have opportunity to take part in Environmental Corp, Scouting, prefect board, school band etc.
